Over 40 years as an industry leader importing and marketing wood products from South East Asia, Central America, South America and New Zealand. Instrumental in his previous position as General Manager at a leading premier importer of wood products globally with sales of over $38 million annually.  Steve started KAYU International, Inc. in 1994 where he remains actively involved heading up sales and purchasing; with over 100 trips to SE Asia and numerous trips to Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, El Salvador and Costa Rica, building solid personal relationships with suppliers. Steve is fluent in Indonesian and Spanish.

Energetic, highly motivated, results focused with a proven track record of more than 20 years of Project Management and consulting with fortune 500 companies for complex system implementations. Joining the KAYU International team in 2007 and utilizing her broad-based competencies, facilitates the “behind-the scenes” marketing and development solutions for both USA and International based relationships. 2018 marks more than 30 trips to Asia, demonstrating commitment and loyalty.  Working in partnership with husband, Steve Wilson, is positively regarded in the Asian culture and the long legacy of Family Owned mill suppliers that Steve has been working exclusively with since KAYU International’s inception.

Robin Lynn Wilson, MBA

VP of Marketing

Brooklyn’s job entails answering phones, managing social media, distributing the daily mail, data entry of freight invoices, Creating Tally Sheets for packing lists, organizing Original Mill Documents, and more.

 

She loves to help her husband Jeremy out with the ranch, and spending time with their daughter Scarlett.

Receptionist

Focused on  Sales for our Sagel, Idaho Warehouse. When he is not working on Sales, he is busy working in the Sagel Warehouse pulling orders for customers.  He organizes the shipping and  delivery of the lumber and maintains the warehouse.

Sales and Warehouse Manager at Sagel, Idaho

I assist VP Natalie Smith in coordinating deliveries to customers. I prepare reports and keep records on shipments to ports, warehousing, and land freight. If you’re looking to buy some beautiful exotic hardwoods, I can help you find the best product to match your project!

 

An indoor creature at heart, when I’m not at work, I’m curled up with a book, crocheting something cozy, or playing my violin.

Logistics And Inside Sales

Alexis plays a key role in assisting the General Manager with many tasks at hand, account management, reporting, invoicing and inventory. Being able to create Standard Operating Procedures, multitask, and motivate staff, she ensures all the daily operations are running smoothly. With having an extensive background in management, she provides guidance and support to help Kayu employees set and accomplish their goals.

Industry knowledgeable and focused on Inside Sales and delivery of our constant and demanding shipping needs.  He is well versed with KAYU International products, shipping, and handling of the lumber.   Fred is an instrumental KAYU team contributor for our overall success.

Dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated, Natalie holds a business degree with a Spanish minor from Oregon State University.  After several years gaining experience in sales, marketing and management in other industries, she joined the KAYU team in 2011. Her main roles include overseeing Sales and Account Management.  She speaks Spanish and has traveled and lived all over the world.

Hello, I’m Johnna Williams the Bookkeeper here at Kayu International. I am originally from sunny San Diego, CA. I moved to Columbus, OH in 2004 and attended The Ohio State University before completing my BSBM from Indiana Wesleyan University. I am the mother to five wonderful, intelligent and handsome sons, all of whom I could not be prouder of. I moved to beautiful Wilsonville, OR in 2012 for an adventure and I love all the rain, the trees, the fresh air and especially all the wonderful people I have had the opportunity to meet. I enjoy spending time with my two sons that are still at home watching Int’l soccer, practicing yoga, reading and listening to music.
